FROM ROOM WITH A VIEW - TO ROOM WITH A GREAT VIEW!
The Digital Homedia team had a great challenge on their hands with a north London penthouse media makeover – make the view inside even better than the view of the outside.
Not easy when utilising existing cables and buried conduits!
Following an initial consultation, site survey and a study of the plans – the Digital Homedia team came up with the solution.
A full design and installation of plasmas and LCD screens was just the starting point with bespoke furniture housing all the speakers and equipment to allow for optimum viewing.
Then came the sound.
A multi room sound server, compatible with Ipods and laptops, housed an entire CD collection with an Internet look up cataloguing the music.
An additional ‘party mode’ option gave crystal clear sound in up to eight different rooms and a light dimming option set off the mood perfectly.
Wireless computer access and a print server made the penthouse fully interactive and the addition of a single remote control for all devices provided the icing on the cake.
